Lelia Cottner Ministries receives donated clothing, furniture, household goods, food, and other in-kind contributions from individuals and community partners who want to help meet practical needs in a meaningful way.
Through our Faith Outreach initiative, these donated resources are carefully received, organized, and made available to qualifying individuals and families through our existing ministry and outreach programs. When appropriate resources are available, recipients may receive clothing, furniture, household necessities, and other essential items at no additional charge.
Our goal is not simply to distribute material goods. We seek to serve people with dignity, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ.
How the Initiative Works
Faith Outreach works alongside other Lelia Cottner Ministries programs to identify individuals and families who may benefit from available donated resources. Assistance is based on demonstrated need, program eligibility, available inventory, and the ministry’s ability to respond responsibly.
Depending on the circumstances and resources available, assistance may include:
Clothing for adults and children
Furniture and basic household items
Food and personal care items
Other donated necessities received by the ministry
Prayer, encouragement, and opportunities to hear the Gospel
Items provided through the program are distributed without additional charge to approved recipients.

Lelia Cottner Ministries is also looking for ways in which we can help alleviate the housing bottlenecks preventing unsheltered populations from securing permanent living conditions.
More Than Material Assistance
We believe practical help can open the door to meaningful connection.
Every interaction is an opportunity to remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved. While providing clothing, furniture, or other necessities, our ministry also seeks to offer prayer, encouragement, and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Faith is never treated as a fee for assistance. Our purpose is to serve freely, respectfully, and compassionately while remaining faithful to the Christian mission of Lelia Cottner Ministries.
More Than Material Assistance
Donated goods are reviewed for suitability, safety, condition, and usefulness before distribution. Items that cannot be used within the ministry’s programs may be declined or otherwise handled in a manner consistent with our charitable mission and available resources.
Our goal is to ensure that each contribution is used where it can provide meaningful benefit.
Who May Receive Assistance
Faith Outreach assistance is intended for individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, emergency need, or other circumstances that limit access to basic necessities.
Eligibility may be determined through:
Referral from another Lelia Cottner Ministries program
Community outreach encounters
Direct requests for assistance
Partner or community referrals
Case-by-case ministry review
Assistance is subject to available resources and does not create an ongoing entitlement to goods or services. Some recipients may receive a benefit in conjunction with other programs on a case by basis as determined by ministry leaders.
